    Thanks HF members

Well I finally, FINALLY was able to make my own whoopies slings and continuous loops.

After getting a great set from Caveman and following all the tips on here, including going to JoAnn's and get a loop turner. I was finally successful in making my own set of suspensions.

Now to take my 5 TBs and all my amsteel and make 5 hammocks for the entire family.
When the wife asks, I simply say "Shug made me do it".

    Congrats !
I love that feeling when you've learnt a new skill. I may never forget walking out of the garage with my first whoopie, all aglow, and the good wife said "What the....it's a piece of string !"

Did the loop turner help quite a bit?

yep. I could slide my finger into the loop turner "loop" at the end and then with my knuckle twist the loop turner as i pull the amsteel back through itself.

I know that feeling. My wife looked at the amsteel and said " you tools he heavy stuff out if your hammock to put THAT stuff in it? What was wrong with the way it was?"

But I know what you were feeling... I too had that sense of pride!
