to tie out or not to tie out

Like a bunch of things in hammock hanging. I think it boils down to personal preference and what works best for you.

I appreciate all the input.....this is my first purchase and decided on a dream hammock......trying to decide between the Roaming Gnome and the Darien... there are many differences between the two but the only one that concerned me was the tie out thing...I talked to Randy who has been a great help in paring down my decision and he said he dosent use tie-outs on his personal hammock just looking to see what the Masses thought love the website and all the help that can be found here
