Wow! I sit here at my desk just craving evermore to get out. How is a guy supposed to get any work done. Thanks for sharing and contributing to my Seasonal Affected Disorder!!!! At least I will be hanging this weekend at the BSA Klondike! Hoping for Snow!!
Thanks for taking us all along, Shug....sure looks like a mighty fine time up there in Finland. Maybe some day I can borrow Hickery's pony and ride on up and join ya!
Whoo, that canopy looks like it was the joint! Looks like a great time, wonderful food, and awesome weather. Can't wait for part 2--thanks, Shug, for the excellent documentation. Loved seeing the setups--ya got some real "tinker/thinkers" up der in da Nort-woods, don'tcha know.

"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver
That's an incredible hang. Did any one keep tabs on who had the heaviest/bulkiest rig, versus who had the lightest/most compact rig to deal with that kind of cold?
That sure looked like a fun hang.....
Were those Swedish Army Mukluks (the green boots on TZ/Stairguy)?
Looking forward for even more fun in the next part
