I only camp in the summer months up in the Sierra Nevadas usually from 6000-9000 feet. I am torn between which over quilt to purchase, the Sierra Sniveller or the High Sniveller, any suggestions?

It really depends on the how cold/warm you sleep really. Currently what do you use and what's the temp rating on the bag/quilt you use?
Real issue is the temp... At those heights the temp will be12-18* below the corresponding sealevel temp....So the required research is the temp norms for those areas you expect to be hiking.
Sierra Sniveller if normally above 25*.... if a lot near 25* or below then recommend the High Sierra.

I'll probably be looking at low 30's most nights. I am replacing a GoLite overquilt that was rated at 20* but I doubt its temperature accuracy hence my concern. I usually sleep warm but I was a bit chilly in the GoLite on a August trip. Other then that all my experience has been sleeping on the ground. : ( Sounds like the Sierra Sniveller might be the way to go.

Sierra Sniveller will be fine for conditions/use you describe...Remember to put a pad under your legs and feet when using a torso UQ.
