That's incredible! The lowest I've been was 18 degrees in a tent! I don't have the equipment to be comfortable below 15. I can feel cold seeping through my air pad at this temperature. I don't have a foam at the moment.

I have had my WB Yeti down to 9* with 55-60 mph wind gusts at 3,862 ft ( with Reflectives ) of course ! I slept all night besides a pee brake !

Just hit a new personal record...-31.1°C.

Using a vapot barrier suit allowed me to push a 0° Pheonix way past its rating!

My low was -2 F at the Frozen Cheesehead hang last year. I spent a miserable, cold night and learned a lot from the experience.

I then spent another night about a month later at -2 F, where I was comfortable and toasty warm. The difference? I went from a tarp to a canvas hammock sock. I also took a synthetic bag and I cut a hole in the footbox that I threaded my hammock through. Inside the bag I put a Reflectix pad with side wings, something missing on the earlier hang where the sides of my shoulders got cold.Down quilt under me and over me. Down hood with fur ruff and wool vest, with down pants and down booties. What a difference the micro climate in the hammock sock makes.

My coldest hang was 7* Celsius. So... yeah I got nothing lol.

My tent record is -5 C, and I was sleeping on an air mattress in an awesome sleeping bag with a toque on and was toasty.

Whooooo, look who's representing for Florida.

We, Floridians are taking it down with you all. Now how about some of you Northerners coming down this spring, summer, or fall for some (What's your hottest hang) time?
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
