CLOSED: Who's interested in a cinch buckle group buy?

    Hi, all,

I have to buy eight 1-inch cinch buckles from OnRope1.com to finish 4 hammocks for my family. The shipping to me for 8 is $9.20, and shipping for 50 is $10.66, so not much difference for a large amount vs. small.

Who else would like some? International is no problem. I would charge you actual shipping cost to send them on.

I would ask for a Paypal payment for just the cinch buckles in advance, then another for shipping after I mail them and know what it is.

BTW, they are $3 each this morning. Has that price gone up recently, or do I just remember it incorrectly?

I'll leave a 1 to 2 week interval before ordering, will play it by ear depending on response to this thread.

    Thanks!

    I'd like 4 of them.

    Thanks!
They were only $2 each when I organized a group buy. But then that was about 2 years ago, now. I don't remember when the price went up but I believe it's been a little while now. I'm sure someone here remembers, it's probably even documented in a thread.

I remember that $2 was the price too. I guess that is why they lowered the min order to 4. I understand they used to have an option for USPS shipping that was much less as well, but I couldn't find it.

I always had to call them to get USPS shipping.

You could probably ship the cinch buckles in a Priority Mail flat rate envelope. I think it runs $4-5 to ship that way. I checked on doing a group buy on the buckles a while back. If I remember by the time you had to pay PayPal fees and the shipping to ship them back out to each person, there was no real cost savings in doing the group buy.

I'm in... I cheked and they do not even ship to the Netherlands. And a enveloppe isn't too expensive.
I cannot find those buckeles overhere, can you believe that.

2 would be enough for me but if 4 is the least, I'lltake four.

    Purchase info for interested folks

    Everyone,

I plan to send my order for the cinch buckles on Jan. 20, one week from today. I'll send you my email address via PM if you leave a message here or via PM, which is what you need to send money by Paypal. It's $3 per buckle, and I'll request the shipping amount from you after I mail them.

I'm not even going to do the math to see if it will save anyone money but if you can't get them at all, like Duncan above, it sure will help!

You should have received my PayPal payment and order info by now.
Thanks again for organizing this group buy!
