So I got a new WBBB for Christmas, however I live in Ohio and its been pretty cold out ever since. I got a free Saturday to take my setup to some local woods and get it all hung up, layed in it for a few minutes and enjoyed myself, but again it was just so cold.
I don't yet have an UQ, or a TQ, but I'm dying to get out in the WBBB for a few hours and see if I drift off and fall into the best sleep of my life. This is also preventing me from going on some nice winter hikes because I really want to do my first overnighter in a hammock.
My financial situation makes it tough to bite the bullet on $300-$500 worth of gear on the UQ and TQ so I'm not sure what to do. I know just putting my 20* bag in the hammock while its 15* out is not going to be close to enough so I need some advice! Should I just snag an UQ and get out there with my 20* bag? Should I go to ground for the time being and save money untill I can afford it?
I have owned a brand new WBBB for 30 days and I've only spent a total of 10 minutes in it!!!! I'm going crazy!
