Thanks to all for setting up the great hang. I had a great time as usual at any HF event, but I did have trouble sleeping. I just kept worrying if my hammock was hanging at the right "hangle"
teehee.

It's always best if your an early riser!
Finally got a chance to hop on here and and give a little update.
First I'd like to thank Iafte and all those involved with the preparations and planning for this event. You guys did a great job and I know that everyone had a fantastic time.
The weather couldn't have been more perfect. We had a light snow on Friday evening which cleared up before midnight and turned into beautiful clear skies with a nearly full moon. Temperature got down to 5F according to my digital thermometer. I had a nice set of trees to hang my new WBBB 1.7 DL and Superfly from.
Saturday was just awesome. Beautiful clear weather all day with a bit of a breeze, got to peek around at everyone's setups and talk knives with some other folk. The food that night was amazing. I think Joe's rum-balls were the highlight for me Saturday night was colder at 3F, but I remembered my hot water bottle and slept even warmer than the night before.
I had to bug out quickly on Sunday morning as I had a 3 1/2 hour drive home and things to do, but I had a blast. Hopefully I'll be able to see you all again next year!
I didn't get too many pictures, but what I did get are here:

What a great time!
Learned a lot, was able to check my gear at some low temps, met some cool folks and the food, well, what can I say? What feast. Inspires me to prepare something special instead of just showing up with a couple store bought pies.
Let's see, pulled into the campsite, wasn't out of my car 30 seconds and was welcomed by Mark. Setup camp near the JerzeBears and off to the group area to meet folks. Immediately greeted by hosts and a half dozen people. Struck up conversations with some interesting people and then the campfire. A lot was learned hanging around the campfire, the second night I mostly listened, so many great stories...and a few lessons.
What happens by the campfire at the Hang, stays by the campfire at the Hang. If you missed the stories, well, you'll just have to show up next year.
Fire jumping is an art, not a science.
Don't show up late for the chowder, there won't be any.
Yellow jackets will attack even after midnight, even in the cold, then they hop in a Subaru and head deep into the woods.
Jeremiah has the job and the permit I want.
Wake up Aurora, it's dawn!
Thru Hike the AT and you may see god, but he'll probably be naked except for the hat.
Can't heat the water bottle if the alcohol stove is frozen shut.
Ice takes a lot longer to melt in the fire than I would have ever guessed.
Gotta check out the TiGoat
WHAT A RAFFLE, the gifts just kept on coming. My alcohol stove rocks!
Next year, more firewood, bigger fires!
