    Underquilt

My underquilt came today from Kaq. Think I now have everything I need for the hang. Question, will polyester paracord work for now for a ridgeline or do I need something different? Para cord is rated at 550 pounds.

Paracord will work ,but as disco taught me it stays wet after a rain then gets packed wet,and heavier. Sure will work short term though.

    Paracord stretches under load too.

It's definitely a bad thing if you are using it for things like a hammock suspension. A tarp suspension may not be affected as much.

Do you have a sporting good store near? If so go try to find some of this.

If you can't find any I can pick you some up. It is about 12 bucks local here in KC.

I have Figure 9's and other Hardware I can bring to help you get your tarp rigged up.

I use the above reflective cord for my tarp lines and ridge line with great success. I also have NO issue finding my hammock at night haha.

Just let me know if you need me to bring anything down for you. More than willing to help a new Hanger get rigged up on his first hang.

From the trailhead take the green equestrian trail off to the left. both camps are about the same distance to get to. just around a mile. the one off the horse trail has more tree pairs and much more firewood and no horses are allowed in there.
