I won't be able to make it. I'm planning a trip on the AT in Connecticut late April/early May and my wife won't like me taking so many trips and leaving her with the two kids.

Those that can make it. Would you want to do more mileage or more camping. This will help to narrow down options for us. I can go either way. Depending on weather we may end up staying in one place anyway because of mud and muck. We will see how that unfolds. Let me hear your interest.

I feel that the more people that we have, the shorter the hike, and more time in camp we have together. The more people, the more catching up, gear examining, instruction, and general shinanigans that will occur...
I may be in. I'd prefer more hiking...
I go up hills slowly, big hills little hills, doesn't matter. Currently I am good for a 3 to 5 hour hike with a winter pack depending on the elevation gain. If we will be on snowshoes I would be concerned if you said more than 6 miles, but the dates work for me.
I like Raiff's thinking. No issues with miles between camp set ups if that's what is decided on either. We don't have snowshoes so if there is a good amount we will be slow going.
FWIW since I am already committed elsewhere, but you can accomplish both with Reasons offer. It really is a very nice hiking mountain, as well as a couple others nearby. Just saying...those who want to hike a little can and those who want to hike a lot can all from the same place.
If it moves, you can eat it. No promises you will think it tastes good.
I'm out. That's a work weekend for me.
ALright to help narrow this down a little bit more and to try and centralize the location i have made a google spreadsheet for sign ups. Please fill it out if you are interested in going.
