FANTASTIC CHOICE! Which one? Did you get the strap suspension, because you may never need to upgrade. Next choice should be the tarp, in my area fair weather still includes heavy dew.

Just spent 2 nights,( 12 and 18 degree) In a WBBB and HG 20 degree
quilts and managed to stay warm.Of course I was not sleeping in underwear
but HG quilts are good to their ratings.Very impressed. You will switch to quilts eventually.Sleeping bags are really difficult to use.I love the WBBB .I use the stock straps and have had little problem rigging it. I have not even upgraded
to a winter tarp yet and have Used the Edge in a couple storms and snow.
Enjoy
good choice on the wbbb, you wont be disappointed!

I love my Superfly and Tarp Flyz! If you are only going to go in fair weather (no storms or Winter camping) check out the HG Cuben Fiber hex tarps. That's what I'm going to get next. I'll never sell my Superfly though. It pitches tight and has super coverage, but it is a little heavy.
Cheap ccf pads will work just fine in the double layer hammock. When the samolians are ripe you can spring for more luxurious gear, but don't let that stop you.
If you are near Chicago or Madison, we have a car camping hang coming up in Rockford, Feb 23. If interested look at the midwest section of Hangs.
Welcome aboard!
