Read lots of reviews, watch my email closely and let the anticipation build! Waiting is half the fun.

    Same lol.

A few companies that have truly surprised me by fast shipping have been Warbonnet and JRB...it seemed that within a few days of them recieving my payment my order would be in within the week...amazing!

One thing you'll never have while waiting is "buyers remorse". Just the opposite actually!

    Hammocks are funny that way.

I usually spend most of my time on here, google and youtube looking up every comment, discussion and review ever written about the item I ordered. Plus I spend a fair amount of time on tracking sites and looking out on the front porch for that all elusive brown carboard box. That's what I do.

I deal with it by looking at my Excel spreadsheet. Around November of last year I have decided to hike light with hammocks. I research, read (both print and online). I have created excel spreadsheet with 3 columns for gear:
    - Gear I want to buy
    - Gear that's on the way
    - Got it!!

Pasting the cells into next category is fun!
And yes, i plan next purchases, like a women on shopping spree in a mall

LOL, I ordered my first hammock (Northwoods Wolf) a few days ago. I won't have too long to wait because I hear it is shipping tomorrow. I am filling my waiting time up with trying to figure out where to try it out though... don't have any trees in my yard that are the right size and distance apart.
