    hello from Arnold Mo

Hello Everyone. New to this whole Hammock thing.I have been a ground dwelling backpacker for a few years and just found hammock camping not to long ago. So many people have told me how much better sleep you get off the ground in a hammock that I have to try it. Although it might be on a low budget, I have to try it. So i am a noob to the hammock but not to the trail. I have some rip stop in the mail and will begin my DIY hammock as soon as it gets here.

Hope to make some good friends and get out on the tails with some of you when my gear is ready to hang. thanks Tom

Welcome from Denver! As you're learning, Shug's videos and Dehoja's The Ultimate Hang book are two of the best, easiest and most interesting resources you'll find.

Hello and welcome to the forums!
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."
