Popular? Nah. I've only shipped MILES of this stuff to my friends on HF.

BTW: I don't use ROPE for anything anymore... Mule tape is far superior...

Thanks John - another PM sent to you.
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

Just for fun I coffee stained some of the mule tape I got from John last night. I was just trying to cut down the brightness a wee bit. It turned a golden tan.

    And it smells good to

John do you have any of the 5/8 left? The 5/8 is the stronger of the two sizes correct?

I have a few projects in mind and I want to give this stuff a try.

If you do my zip is 21220, send me a PM with how much you require for shipping, I will respond back with my addy n everything.

    Re: Mule tape

Small flat rate box. $6 incl paypal and incidentals. 100' ish. Boy is saving for scouting fu ds, so he might to a mass sale sometime In The future....

Th 5/8 stuff is not the strongest. I had 3/4, but it would not lay flat.

I know muletape is a super strong lightweight rope-like material which is helpful to have but how does it apply specifically to hammock backpacking?

    Re: Mule tape

It is cheap suspension, and for lightweights (kids) it is ok as tree huggers.

Some use it for tree straps. Some use it for bridge hammock construction.
