In over 2 yrs of owning a hammock by WB I have never bothered to take alook at or even use the strap suspension that I always ordered with the vaious hammocks. So I got a set out and installed them on my RR and I must say,,simplicity in its finest. Simple to use, and less pieces and almost the same weight as previous suspensions I have used.

6' whoopies w/pair of 6' tree slings came out weighing 4.7 oz.
I always used nano 23 beiners.................................1.6 oz for the pair
total weight 6.3 oz.
Add extra length of looped amsteel and couple of loops and your weighing a dash more as I always carry this extra just for emergencies.

WB strap suspension with buckles.............................6.6 oz.
include couple of Dutch Clips,,........................approx 0.5 oz.
total weight 7.1

Going to use them as I figure with the RR,,,I can trim the straps down a little if I want, and the weight is about the same.

SRS suspension is alittle less, but not by much. I haven't tried the UCR suspension system, but I must say again, Brandon's strap system is well thought out and simple to use with less pieces involved. Just wanted to post this as figured you people would post what your using and weight for the heck of it as well.
