Looking to make a continuous loop without having to splice. Will an overhand knot with the two ends hold? If not, which knots do you guys recommend using?
Thanks

Triple Fisherman's knot works well. It's what Brandon uses on his Warbonnet Blackbird (or at least he used to when I first got mine) I've used double fisherman's before without any slippage but amsteel is pretty slick and the extra wrap provides more security and piece of mind.

The double fishermans knot is also what I use. I have them for all my loops I use for the prusic knot. That is until I get some zingit or lashit. Then, I will use continuous loops for a cleaner look.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
Any initial slippage? Thanks
Double fisherman's knot for sure. I heard triple in there, I think you should blow'em out of the water with a quad fisherman's knot.

I'm with Bubba. Tend to have put a triple fishermans's on mine.

Double or triple fishmermans for me, depending on how much rope I have to work with and how critical the hold is. I've never had either one slip on me, though.

Ditto on the folks who recommended the fisherman's knot. It'll hold just fine and easy to tie.
