Patching a Spinn tarp

I have a Spinn tarp and was wondering how I should go about patching a small hole...about the size of pen head. Would seam sealer or some sort of silicone do the trick without an actual patch or would I need to glue a patch to it?

I don't know about sealers on spinn fabric but since it is used for sails how about some sail repair tape.

Looks like adhesive dacron tape is the answer. Thanks for the tips! Unfortunately I can only find it sold by the yard and the shipping costs more than a yard of the stuff.

Its a tarp..and a pin head hole size. Stick some seam sealer on it. It will work.
