    The today's DIY material haul!

I was lucky enough to score some downy goodness today. After I received my incubator I knew I needed more down. First, I got 2 JCP XL puffer jackets. I'm making these into an UQ this week/weekend. I just need grosgain and shock cord.

    (both in the bag)

I stopped at a thrift store on the way home and scored a down comforter for 6 bucks. I plan use this down for a TQ sooner or later.

I'm gonna sort the down soon and store it for later. Can't beat it for 6 bucks!

    Awesome, nice find!

I was going to use an old down comforter to make a tq in the future (when my diy skills blossom) but I noticed there are feathers in there as well...makes me weary of using that stuff.

Those are some awesome finds. I've been looking at my local goodwill but never seem to find quilts. Now I have another stop to explore.

    How much fill?

Do you know how much fill is in the JCP jackets? Someone said 2oz.
