    Thanks for the insight Rev!

    But wouldn't a single folded hem become unraveled unless heat sealed?

    Do you have any techniques to keep the large amounts of fabric organized so that when you run it through the machine you don't end up with a clump of fabric at the other end?
    Also, sometimes when I pin the fabric, the sides are flat and line up fine. But when I seam them together, one layer seems to become longer than the other. Is there a "better" way to pin the material?

    Hmmm... If I did what I intended.. the folded hem is folded twice. I'll check that.

    Watch the very beginning again. The floded hem is folded twice. That encases the raw edge.
