Here ya go Dave-0, Some Pictures

So if you look the baffles run vertically. Their is a horizontal strip of elastic sewn into the quilt vertically where one typically gets CBS. You can see where it scrunches up that is where the elastic is. So the elastic helps suspend the quilt so it creates a tighter seal underneath you. Let me know if you have any questions.

    LRR,

Thanks for posting the pictures. That's a really nice looking quilt (it's very tempting) and the pictures make it really easy to see the elastic.

I have a couple of more questions:

    1. Can you feel the elastic piece through your hammock?

    2. Is there elastic along with the draft collars to cinch up the ends of the quilt or just the draft collars?

    3. Does it have the new suspension? I know you said it had the hooped suspension, but I wasn't really sure what you meant.

    4. Is the quilt the same width at the top and the bottom or is it tapered?

Thanks so much for taking the time to take the pictures.

    Sincerely,
    Dave-O

    No problem Dave,

I have a couple of more questions:

    1. Can you feel the elastic piece through your hammock?

No, the times I used it I don't remember feeling a ridge or anything like that. When the UQ is hung and you get in the elastic stretches out so it is not all bunched up like it is in the picture. So it just smooths it self out with the UQ against the hammock body

    2. Is there elastic along with the draft collars to cinch up the ends of the quilt or just the draft collars?

Yes there is bungee that runs horizontally at both the head and foot end of the UQ so you can cinch up the ends.

    3. Does it have the new suspension? I know you said it had the hooped suspension, but I wasn't really sure what you meant.

No it does not have the new suspension, it only has one continuous loop of bungee that runs around the quilt which you hook onto the end of your hammock. The elastic in the middle IMHO eliminates the need for the new suspension.

    4. Is the quilt the same width at the top and the bottom or is it tapered?

    It is tapered

Thanks so much for taking the time to take the pictures.

    Sincerely,
    Dave-O
