Yes. But you say I carry too much stuff. No muffins for you!

I've got an extra hammock and sleeping bag, too.

    And an extra top quilt.

So all you'd need is a pack.

    Heck.

I've got an extra pack too.

And I make muffins. For everybody but Caveman. He's mean.

FWIW, The muffins alone are worth the drive.

As for Caveman, we know he can't be all bad, after all, he has a really nice dog.

As for gear, Sargevining can set you up well. If he doesn't have what you need, there's plenty of us who can pick up the slack. (I also know of some gear for sale when you narrow down your choices. )

Sure is a lot more than that now. Lets get a group hang together soon for North DFW

Yep, Roanoke's all grown up! My grandparents are from Keller. I remember them driving us through Roanoke on the way to church. You're right. It was nothing but fields.
Bebe's Chicken showed up and it was a huge deal! Then the Nascar was built, and that was a huge deal. Den dat dere Wally-mart done got built.. and den liquor stores gallores. Yeehaw!
Heh, Only way to escape the urban sprawl is through parks.

Really appreciate the generosity and kindness that's been offered here. It's nice to know there's help around when it's needed ..and muffins.
Looking forward to eventually taking the "training wheels" off and joining the group hangs.

    Thanks again!
