Bought and read The Ultimate Hang. It answered some of my lingering questions and love the quick references in the back. Thanks to rhjanes for the suggestion.

Not quite ready for cold weather hanging, sargevining. Still researching and gathering gear for that but will save the trail info for future reference.

Welcome fellow Roanoken, I work in Roanoke and live in Denton. PM me if you ever want to hang.

If you have a hammock and a sleeping bag, I have an extra Underquilt and tarp.

    Heck.

I've got an extra hammock and sleeping bag, too.

    And an extra top quilt.

So all you'd need is a pack.

    Heck.

I've got an extra pack too.

And I make muffins. For everybody but Caveman. He's mean.

I used to live in Denton and drove to Grapevine everyday. Roanoak was nothing but the place where 377 crossed 114. Wasn't even a gas station there back then. Argyle was a ghost town, and there wasn't anything between Roanoak and Grapevine but pasture on both sides of the road.
