Great report! Wonderful pics! Looked like a fine time! Gotta love being able to dig a 'cold sink' under the hammock, to move the cold lower and away. The kitchen set-up was perfect, too!
Thanks for taking us along!

Loved seeing your pics, especially the snow kitchen. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed the pics folks, just wish I'd taken a few more between the blizzards and frozen rain showers
If any of you guys ever make it over to our wee island I'll be more than happy to take a bunch out for a few days, the offer's always there
Thanks for taking me to an exotic land!
Loved the dug-in kitchen, very smart.
....and a full on winter kit in an Ohm? a pack that can do it all!
Well I've never heard Scotland referred to as exotic before, that is a first
I was also hauling a small pulk with stove/food/bivvy bag and Exped downmat/extra warm layers/shovel and snowshoes on The Ohm was crammed with my winter TQ & UQ, Woodsman Lite hammock, Superfly, go-to ditty bag, stakes, spikes, brew kit and extremities wear
