@K0m4 That pic is making me even more jumpy! My XLC is in the hands of the customs people while I'm itching to get my hands on it.

So Delivery was at the end of saturday afternoon. With all the rain and heavy winds I wasn't able to get it out yesterday.
Ofcourse I have had it out of the stuff sack and was overwhelmed by the loads of nice design features and quality!

Maybe if work permits I can go do a little trip coming weekend and have the first sleep in it. Might have to get to bed early then so not to sleep till to late!

Only thing it now starts itching to get something like a superfly to go with it. Because the DD I use now will be on the small side and the other cheap tarp(ALDI supermarket thingie) I've got is somewhat heavy.
Probably will wait with that 'till Matt from UKhammocks gets some new stock in from Brandon. Shipping cost and import duties make that the way to go it seems.

Just in time for some tests in the weekend then
Dunno about the weather on you're side of the ocean, but here it is finally time to take the BBXLC out for a testdrive tonight in beautifull weather. Last weekend when I got it, it was lashing down with rain all the time so didn't get a chance to take it out.
Already put the wake-up alarm on my phone for tomorrow, 'cause I expect to be out cold once I snuggle down in the hammock.

Haven't set it up yet but I took it out of the bag last night to have a look. The craftsmanship and quality that I expected was certainly their. I can't wait to do a trip with this thing. Thanks Brandon.

Finally I've had my first nights sleep in my BB XLC friday night, had a beutifull restfull sleep in it. Only thing I need to tinker with a bit is the way I attach my UQ it kept slipping of my left shoulder.
So I'll have a go at fixxing it this week, ready for next weekends 2 nighter(more time for testing and adjusting). Had to use my old sleeping pad the following night as I was staying at a friends place, this made me realize again why I went hammocking!

my original BB was misplaced while I moved to NY...so, I figured I'll try the newest creation.
