I'm 6'4" and always felt that it was a little short. REALLY looking forward to this new 'Bird.

I'm considering going for a longer hammock. The WBBB specs say it is good for up to 6'8". At 6' should I only consider the WBBB XLC or is the WBBB still in play?

    thank you.
Like I said; @ 5'10" the Blackbird is great but the XLC is even better. A six footer, I think, would be more comfortable in the XLC over the regular Blackbird. However, everyone is different; but if you feel being "a bit too close to the ends." is uncomfortable then I would suggest the XLC.

My best recommendation is to lie in a Blackbird and, if possible, an XLC before you buy. I can't tell you which one will be more comfortable for you; you are you I am not.

I don't know if I'll get the chance but it sure would be nice. Just comparing the specs HH Expedition Classic at 100X52 vs the WBBB 120X65 (and the XLC is 12" longer I believe). The extra 20" of the WBBB would really be nice and probably negate the need for 32" more than my current setup (going the XLC route).

    thank you for the feedback.

Why not a 1.1 single? Is the material too light to hold a 190 lb body? How about M50? Any custom possibilities with either of these two options?

Looks simply fantastic. I always wanted a BB, and this looks even better.

Beside a few photos from one happy owner I haven't read many reviews or seen many photos of the xlc in action. Is here a shipping issue or is everyone so happy to be in the new hammock they forget to take photos and write reviews?

I got mine to day, but it is raining...maybe tomorrow between the storms. It smells good? Does that help?
