Clark NX 250 with Baltoro 65 backpack

I have a Clark NX250 and I love it. I am however planning to upgrade my current backpack ( Gossimer Gear "G4" ) to a Gregory Baltoro 65.
Yes I know it is a heavier pack, but that comfort and suspension of that pack is like heaven and really rock!!!!
    Anyways;
Does anyone carry a NX250 in the bottom compartment of the Gregory Baltoro ? I was wondering how well it fits in that lower sleeping bag compartment?
I am just trying to avoid dragging the clark over to the outfitters to see how well it fits in the Baltoro.

I dunno about that particular pack, but the hammock fits great in my lower compartment 65, including suspension and tarp. Gotta stick my UQ/TQ somewhere else though.

    Thanks for the info.
To be on the safe side I will take my Clark with me to the outfitter to see if it will indeed fit in the bottom compartment of the Gregory Baltaro 65

    good choices

I have a baltoro 75 and a nx250. I love them both! I put the hammock in a dry bag and load it in the bottom compartment. I put the sleeping bag and kitchen stuff side by side on top of that and clothing on top. Plenty of room for everything! Hope this helps.

    Thats good news to hear!!
From what I read, that is a great pack.
And from what you just told me a perfect place to put a Clark in its own easy in / out compartment.
I hate digging through my pack to get to the clark, as its the heavest item I carry, it always went to the bottom of my Gossimer pack.
Nothing wrong with the G4 pack, but I always wanted a seperate easy access to get to my hang.

    Thanks!!!

I have an Argon 85 and can fit the 250 plus Zliner and my down bag in the sleeping bag compartment. You can see my old post about my setup.

    Thanks for the input.
It looks like gregory makes a great line of packs.
Can't wait to try one out.
