    I am doing some recruitment...

This weekend I am at Scoutland in Gainesville, GA. I am on staff for the Wilderness First Aid Course. There is a Cub Scout Pack camping here this weekend. One family has an older brother (Boy Scout) and sister along for the trip. The older brother has an ENO DN and the sister has an ENO SN. They are both using CCF in their hammocks for insulation. I talked with them about UQs and using Whoopie Slings. I gave the brother a pair of 6 foot WS that I had with me. I told him about the forum and suggested he go search YouTube for 'Shug'.

Hopefully we will be seeing a new face around here before too long.

Always great to hear about Cub/Boy Scouts joining the movement. Thanks for sharing!

As luck would have it, I'm attending a Wilderness First Aid class held by NOLS this weekend here in Denver as a participant. Very good so far.

I'm probably going to take this course next year. I've got Wood Badge and everything else this year, lol. I love to see scouts of any age joining the hammocking movement and hopefully backpacking.

You shouldn't have done that. When they see shug they'll get scared away
