In deep snow it can be very easy to loose the trail unless it is well marked.

You hike all day on a high calorie, protein and sodium diet. You snuggle all warm and cozy in your hammock the temps are below freezing and there's nothing that will get you out of that toasty hammock. Then you farted........ :'(

I started out a few days ahead of Fronkey .. I pulled a hip flexor and had to abort .. 1st time for everything .. I'm putting a trip report together now .. looking forward to seeing the reports from Fronkey as well .. sub-zero temps play havoc with digital electronics .. I'm sure we all will see some epic footage on a hike that's not just intrepid, but quite the display of valiant perseverance.
