ORF, My father-in-law tried the log perch method one frosty morning while out hunting. The log was supported on one end by a stump and was covered in an invisible sheet of ice. Needless to say he had a nice cold backside as he slid down the log with pants around the ankles! I almost had a heart attack when I saw his face when he came back to camp and told the story.

The videos were very entertaining. IMO I think there is a need for this product with certain people, regardless of age. I'm 22 and I would use it. ( just not close enough to the trail for passers by to wave at me). Accessory loop needs an ipad slot.

That could be a camp chair if you make two of them and don't get confused. Thanks for the effort in making the video!

I think it would be easier and cheaper to find a hand sized tree to hold on to. Not to mention less roots to dodge for your hole to dig. Second thought it is Kink training. (Ok yall who wants to wear the strap on while they do their doody) ?

After a conversation about this at a hang a couple years ago I actually made a UL version of this with dynaglide, a dutch biner and some GG Thinlight pad. It even has a TP dispenser and a place to hang the TP dispenser from. I still use it to this day every time I'm out. The whole setup weighs 3.3oz including TP. I'm a gram weenie and even though I originally made it as a joke, it is a staple in my pack and is worth every ounce.
