Hey guys, thought since i've been browsing about this very helpful and informative site for a few weeks i'd join the fun. I'll be honest, when i first started looking i thought " wow these guys have an amsteel fetish". But after looking into the talk, realising the greatness of the stuff as far as longevity and durability is concerned. That is however realising this after going and purchasing 200ft of paracord for tarp needs and other knotty projects. Looks like i'll be making bracelets and other products instead.
I know this kinda deviates from the subject of this thread but i wonder. since over here in wet west of scotland, is a single karabiner at the end of my whoopies enough to drip the torrential rain we suffer? i was considering putting a ring at the end of the whoopie to attach the biner to, is this idea advisable?
i just want to safeguard a dry hammock when i wake in the morning.
