Underground Quilts offers hydrophobic-treated down as an option for all of their quilts.
Hope it helps!

That's a real factor for me that hydrophobic down is offered.
Nikwax used to, and may still, offer a down proofing product, you wash it in, and it reduces the amount of water that the down will absorb.
Ground sheet, UQ protector or sock of some sort, and a tarp overhead are critical where I live. Tarp with doors has helped immensely.
I had pretty good results with a 2QZQ underquilt protector (silnylon) in very heavy fog on Cumberland Island, GA). It ended up being warmer than expected so I slept pretty hot and experienced a small amount of condensation buildup inside the setup. I thought the fog may have contributed to the moisture buildup too but experienced the same thing the following night with no fog.
random thought. what about uq protector/gear Hammock ( silnylon) with a hole in bottom to drain any water?? could b a poncho if hole was large enough..
some say yes to silnylon under uq loosely.. others no..
I'm lost. bump
