The Claytor suggested knots worked just fine, its the extra thumbs that get in the way... and hanging solo I could have used an extra hand to hold the paper up, so I could follow the pictures. hee hee!! I know, practise practise. What type of rain proofing knots do you suggest?

I have all of the materials to change the suspension to webbing and rings with a biner. Before I hang in my garage I am switching it out. Boy I can hardly wait for my hammock to get here. The new potential date of delivery is sometime in the 2nd week of Feb. Oh my the wait is killing me!

    ...................

I just used the simplest possible knot, I think it is called an "overhand"? Just keep it pretty close to your hammock and under the tarp.

I am trying to be patient but . . .

I ordered a 3x4m. Tarp on the 19th of last month...... That was 18 days ago.
I sent Tom an email today asking him whats up with that.
    I'm not happy about it.

Well I kind of am over the proverbial barrel as I paid for the hammock in December and now just have to wait for the arrival of the 2nd one shipped to me. If all goes as I have been told the 15 day shipping time should be about up - I expect delivery Monday or Tuesday. I can hardly wait to post that I am a Hanger!

Good grief! You should be hanging by now, and should have been hanging for a while.

Heck, at this point, cancel the order and I'll sell you mine!
Seriously, I feel your pain...(and I might have a Claytor Jungle for sale)

I feel that it is right to give Tom Claytor the chance to deliver his product. In truth, I am just like anybody else and I want what I have paid for. But I do not think Tom is at fault - although I would seriously look at some accountability in his shipping proccess if I were him. If you put your Clator up for sale let me know however 'cause I may be wanting another for my son if I like mine - if I ever get mine that is.
