The sharp heavy steel biners bugged me, enough that I put on some cinch buckles from Dutch and take the extra time to tie a henessey lash...at 260, the 400 rating is too low to leave me comfortable trusting my angles are right, but I appreciate the rei links, maybe if I re-biner my rig I can speed my setup time.

I bought 2 ENO DN in March/2013. One had the old biners and one had the new ones. I ordered them at the same time both from amazon... So far the new biners have held up great. I'm 6'0 280lbs.

My new new set is working fine. Actually laid in the dn with my girlfriend yesterday for awhile. Combined weight of probably 300lbs. However I switched my sn to whoopies, much much better.

I was going up to All Good festival, and my 2 brothers decided to go. So I bought 2 doublenests for them to use in my geodesic dome. They had the new carabiners on them. After one night of sleeping in them, one of the biners was horribly bent, but luckily I noticed it before my brother got deposited on the ground. I immediately checked the other 3 biners, and they were all starting to bend. The wire gates would not go into the hook part of the biner where they are supposed to rest. My brothers weigh 300lbs and 350lbs.

I ended up taking the biners to the ENO stand at the festival, and they immediately gave me 4 of the old style biners. I would not trust these new ones at all.

The GF and I have doubled up on them a several times. I have no issues or worries with them for the application.

All Good was pretty awesome, was my first time there! Love being able to setup my geodome and hammock right at camp. Also like being able to setup the hammock at the top of the hill overlooking the 2 main stages. Took some pictures of all the hammocks: http://imgur.com/a/JwUT0

i just received my double nest in the mail and it had the old style. I did see the new style at the local outdoor store and they looked kinda weak although they are much lighter weight than the old style. Regardless i just replaced the need for them by upgrading to whoopie slings.
