I bought an ENO DN off the shelf at a ****'s Sporting Goods last fall, and it came with the new 'biners. Since it - literally - was the last one they'd left from the season prior, it wasn't exactly new stock, so I'd hope by now all of them would come equipped with the updated version. Better to buy these when you've got pictures to verify it, or can have it in-hand to check yourself.

Curious at what point are the Biners failing? I have a DN and they work great for me and all my stuff. I am curious if it is more of user error or manufacture error

i have them and they hold up well. no difference between them or the old. no issues what-so-ever. i know that when i first unpacked my eno, i was like wtf is this? then i remembered they switched the carabiners. i guess when i get some good "hanging miles" on them, i will find out for sure.

I just replaced my ENO carabiners with the new CAMP Nano 22. As the name states they are 22 grams, one less than the 23, obviously BUT they 1KN stronger each way than the 23s! The ENO is rated for 400 lbs of weight. That is just under 2 KN. The Nano 22 is rated to 23 KN on the long side. So just under twelve times stronger than the ENO.

After reading this and before I hit the ground, I changed out the OME with H D climbing binners. Tut
