    Finaly my first UQ

So, just got my TQ and UQ from UKHammocks, and I must say the stuff this feller sends out i superb. I ordered the TQ with sommer fil ( 350 g down) and the 3 season UQ. The UQ i not full length, but 160 cm long ( 400 g down).

There was one down side. When trying out my new down, the elastic cord on the TQ, the one that tightens around the neck, went loss.

I emailed UKHammocks and after 5 min. I had a solution to the problem. Either ship the TQ back ASAP for repair, free of charge, off course. Or, if I was up for it, I could try to repair for myself!. If I picked the last solution They would refund me 15 pounds ( 25 USD )
I than asked for a discount on there Woodsman Lite hammock, and got the following answer.

Woodsman lite, mounted with woopies, tree straps, carbon toggles, bishop bag, mounted rigeline for the prise of 30,50 pounds ( 48 USD ) and that includes shipping. A fair deal if you ask me.

Went for the yard this night, and it was aprox. Minus 4 degrees, but was very toasty, when I first god the UQ pulled thigt enough. It has to be surprisingly thight to avoid CBS....

    Can only recommend UKHammocks

Nice pics. It's good to hear that you have a solid quilt vendor choice in the UK.

Congrats on making the move! The weight/space savings and comfort from quilts is a major step up in hammocking!

Yes, we can thank God for UKhammock over here in Europe. And this is for the cost of 500 USD, with Dutch TI clips, 2 x triangels an chippeng. If I had orderd from the US the cost would have been mutch higher.

Great looking gear, and customer service. Good deal on the woodsman x lite as well... that's basically free suspension and shipping (I think??). I have ordered a couple of bits of gear from Matt as well and he was great to deal with, emailed him a couple of times and i had a response within an hour.

It is good to know we have at least one cottage vendor that who will provide products and service to rival our friends across the puddle (although dd hammocks have great service also tbf, just not the same light weight options)

I would be really appreciative if you could do a little review of the quilts, diff cuts, uq suspension method and so on, I have watched the videos but he doesn't go into much detail and there isn't a huge amount of info on his site.

Slightly, basically 900us fill is 850eu fill, 600us is 550eu etc.
