I am going to try and make it. So far it looks good. What is the deadline for sign up? I could always sign the sheet and send whomever collects the money the ten dollars i think it was. That way I would have a name tag if I make it, and nobody would be out any money if I couldn't.

Should I start making some Turtle-Dog Stands or yall think we will still have enough trees? I have 3 bamboo groves, 20+ years old, so supplies are plentiful, except for the metal poles.

However to date I have only managed to secure a hammock. I am still working on figuring out which fly, bug net and quilting I may need. So basically I'm not sure if it is a good idea to arrive under prepared. With only my pack and a hammock. I guess I could always pack the tent, but that would probably defeat the purpose.
Come! I was (and still am) a complete noob at the Fall MAHHA event . I was my able to stay for the day Saturday(breakfast-dinner/raffle) and I learned a ton. I was wishing I had planned to stay for the weekend. Was treated like family and had only
been on the forums about 2 weeks prior to the event.

I'm bringing my wife and two boys next weekend! Exciting stuff!

No cash required, the Name Tags are on me my friend; this is my contribution to Spring MAHHA. Please put yourself on the Attendance sheet and we’ll draft a tag for you, let’s call it “additional incentive”?

OK signed up now I am one step closer. I noticed there is still one opening for a griddle. If it is an electric griddle I can supply one of those.

I want to thank everyone for being so positive about someone with such little hammock experience tagging along. Speaks volumes for this group.

Thumbs up Battery Backup for my CPAP

Those hanging close to me will be glad that I purchased a multi-night battery set up for my CPAP. Tested it at home and it still had power after three nights!

Donna here...With Cranky Bear's reply, I realized we never responded to your question. There will probably be enough trees with all the sites we have. But, some might want to hang close to others or with their "group". Having extra stands might be a plus. Also, we might have more show up then signed up.

As my mother always said..."It is better to have and not need...then to need and not have". If you enjoy making them, and it won't be a waste of your valuable time...go for it!

I said that as I would really like to see one made from bamboo...possibly one day own one.
