I'd love some bamboo to construct my 3rd stand. How much for 6 pieces.

Tell ya what, I'll trade ya something. My best friend Destikahr needs a compass. Hook him up with one and the bamboo is yours. He will be carpooling with me to the hang. So it will be a nice surprise for him. Unless he reads this post..lol

I am still trying to figure out what food to bring to the Saturday potluck. I was thinking about maybe bringing some lime chicken but would need to "Finish" it on a gas or charcoal grill.

Anybody know if there is room available on any of the potluck's grills?

Half Pint and I are going to bring some firewood. We were camping up there last weekend and saw a guy who was selling it boxed up just outside the park. We both have SUVs so we can't get a ton of wood but we should be able to pick up a fair amount.

I can jam a box or two probably in the trunk of my Toyota Camry but I won't be there before dark on Friday night. Just a thought. Do you know what the cost per box is?

Actually I was wondering if any vendors will be attending this event. I not 100% sure how it works if they come and show/demonstrate products. Because I would love to see what kind of tarp options I might have for my ENO DN. As it stands I will be bringing a lovely blue tarp that has formerly served as a ground cover for a tent, should I have to cower under it in the event of rain.

I don't think I will get my bug net finished in time for the trip. I live near enough in the swampy woodlands to know the mosquitos haven't hatched here. How are the black flies? Just wondering if I will get away without a bug net this weekend or should I bring my Hennessy?

Donna here....I was going to ask Tim about this last night...but didn't get a chance. I'm guessing you won't need the netting....it is cool enough...but I'm hesitant to say definitely not. Not much help..am I!
