Anybody try a thermarest X-lite large pad ??

in a gathered end hammock.

I am tempted to try one out.

Lots of folks try Thermarests, including the X-lite, and like them plenty. They can provide some additional support. The only downside is that of any other pad - possibility for cold shoulders and the pad sliding around.

The X-lite should work just as well for you as most other similar air-inflated pads, though.
