Shane is at a group hang... left before the deadline. He will be back Sunday and we'll make a decision. Announcement coming early next week. Thanks, one and all, for playing!

Thumbs up The BIAS Hiker Lite

This one was a really difficult selection. Some were creative. Some were funny. Some were safe. Most were good.

Our goal was to see the name reflect two things based on the confusion the original name created:
    1) Demonstrate it is a terrific and comfortable overnight hammock (11 feet long, 56 inches wide and made of low-stretch material)
    2) Have the name work to show it's a lightweight hammock (9 ounces which is lighter than a GTUL!).

When faced with many, many good options, my mother taught me to go with your first instinct. Three or four more caught my attention, but I kept going back to that first idea, The Hiker, from highlife.

But a great addendum came from stevebo... "maybe add lite to one of these names..." and he went on to suggest the name "hiker" among a few others.

So we're proclaiming both victorious for renaming the hammock the "BIAS Hiker Lite." It's simple, straightforward and utterly devoid of confusing terminology. And, to my knowledge, it's not in use elsewhere which is a good thing.

PMs inbound to both tomorrow (it's late and my bedtime has arrived) for shipping addresses for their double layer BIAS Hiker Lites. We really, really appreciate all the fabulous input and should we opt for one of these other fine names for a future product, we'll send you one of whatever we make for your marketing brilliance.

    Thanks again.
