Thanks for the pics you posted! I would like to see a 20* and 40* side by side if anybody has such pics. Enjoy your new uq and let us know what you think. I am trying to decide between a 20* and a 40* set. Just can't make up my mind.

I've got both, in long. Looking for differences in loft pics, or what specifically?

Hey body, Just curious as to pack size difference in the two mostly myself. I am thinking there's probably not a lot of difference, but I was a little surprised at the size of the 40* in the pic. Do you find that you use one more than the other? I have about talked myself into getting the 40* set because I will tend to hang more 3 season rather than winter. But then I get to thinking the 20* would be better protection should i decide on colder weather hanging and I could always vent it some when needed. Geez the decisions

That's the same boat i was in but i decided to go with the 40 +1 oz of down. I believe they use the same weight of down in the quilts but have gone to 900 fill which should make it more like a 35 degree then i added just a little bit to make sure i could get close to freezing with it

Thanks again for taking the time to do the pics and post them. I'm leaning more toward the 40* set for starters and then maybe a 0* set later on for winter. I hope you enjoy yours. HH.

For me, with coastal influences frequently in play, the 40 deg is generally limited to "true summer" conditions /months. I do love it for that though and it is still lighter (by a teeny tiny bit) than my ginormous oversized M50 20degree (which is significantly lighter AND bigger than my normal 20deg)

EDIT: still TOTALLY willing to take pics, just let me know exactly what shots you're after. It'll have to be tomorrow night after work though.

Hey again Bill, I appreciate the offer but it's no big deal. I will tend to hang mostly in the warmer months probably. So I will more than likely get a 40* set initially and then either the 20 or zero later. I miss California, it was a cool place back in the late 70's when I was living out there. I lived out in Santee. Take care.
