    Marlin spike is how I already do my tent stakes so that idea on chopsticks makes perfect sense to me.

    This is true, we do have some tough ground to get stakes into around here. But there are a few spots where these would be suitable to use, just might not always be the most obvious (or legal) of camping locales.

    I reckon these should work as toggles on my hammock suspension too. As long as the whoopie rests on the knot and not.....etc.
