I haven't used any other vendors but I only hear great things about them. For myself though, Hammock Gear is hands down the best buying experience I've ever had. Quality is top notch, innovation top notch and they're awesome people to deal with. Always extremely helpful anytime I ever had a question. In my eyes you absolutely can't go wrong ordering from them.

Not always the case, some bags, like BA don't have insulation in the bottom and require a pad for that.

I like the jrb sniveler. It has good width for tucking and with over stuff I've been in the 20's with no problems. Plus you get to deal with the nicest guys in the cottage industry THE JACKS!

Waiting on my top from hammock gear. If its anything like their underquilt I can't wait. It's the same rating as my synthetic bag, at a pound less.
