Martin backpacker! Made for the trail....
I am one of those people who always has music running through my head... I'm a sound man as a hobby... I can't play anything well enough to take the weight, but I'm told I sing well enough... And that doesn't weigh much...
Live, Laugh, Love, if that doesn't work. Load, Aim and Fire, repeat as necessary...
Buy, Try, Learn, Repeat
Dont play any instruments but been thinking it might be nice to learn a small wind thingy...flutish sorta deal. We shall see.
I snagged a First Act acoustic for $40 a few years ago because they marked it wrong accidentally... They're $100 normally. Not a bad guitar for the money. I've beat it to hell but it still plays well. That's my go-to for any travel.

I'll play. Hohner Marine Band or Lee Oskar harp in my pocket and a Martin Backpacker guitar are always at my side.
I'm a guitar player - have a small Tacoma acoustic guitar that's lightweight but kinda bulky. I take it mostly when car camping. Also have an Ocarina that's easy to carry but I need more practice. I often get some good song ideas when out in the woods.
