    Side Sleeping with an underquilt

I just got the money to buy an underquilt and I am wondering how you side sleepers use your underquilts.

I'm a side-sleeper. I have the 3/4 length Flamethrower from Arrowhead Equipment. Sleeping on my side is not an issue with it. It covers me like it would cover a back-sleeper. I do want to trade up to a full-length under quilt, but that's not related to sleeping on my side. Good luck!

I have the JBR Greylock 4 and it comes up real high on the sides so your knees are covered. A real asset for that UQ.

I had more of a problem learning to sleep on my side with my TQ. As I turned from my back to my side, my back got cold. I quickly learned to roll my body only when I turned in my sleep.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!

How does the warbonnet winter yeti do for a side sleeper I am really considering it and wondering how it performs.

I'm a side sleeper and use a full length underquilt that's 36" wide. Once I'm in my hammock, I center the underquilt and I'm good till I get up again. Some nights if I'm not ready to sleep and roll around a bit, I might lose a shoulder but it's easy enough to center the underquilt again.

I made a 3/4 diy using the patter from diy gear supply. I attached mitten hooks to the corners with elastic. It clips right onto my Dangerbird. It stays snug and side sleeping is no problem.

I will be moving to UGQ for this very reason.

I'm a very active sleeper. Even with suspension dialed in, wider quilts will reduce any issues.

Just received my Hammock Gear Incubator a couple of weeks ago. I'm 6'2" and it covers me neck-to-toe with plenty on the sides so I can roll around. Like GrannyPat, I find more issues from my TQ when I side sleep than from my UQ.

I'm a side sleeper and use 3/4 length, 40" wide underquilts and have no issues at all. More than ample coverage.
