    Question Help!

    I am very new to hammocking and need to learn the basics. I have a DIY hammock,fail, but need the other little accessories, suspension, tarp, quilts, ect. I have a fairly low budget but a great love for the outdoors Please respond, and be patient, I'm a noob

    take a look around the forums. Read, absorb, ask a little more specific questions if need be. Check out the video section. There's a few great "how to for noobs" videos in there.

    Welcome to HF. +1 on checking out the video secton--tons of information there. I was curious why the "fail" comment after your DIY hammock--are you not pleased with the result? Did the hammock tear in some way? You will find lots of help, information, inspiraton, and encouragement on HF. You will also find others who are making it out there at minimal expense but maximum enjoyment.

    I have made all of my own gear, except for my current tarp, and a bunch of gear for my friends. I'd be glad to help in anyway I can. :-)
