    Being in Canada, we get lots of opportunity to take pictures of snow (10cm fell overnight) but what camera setting do you use to get the effects that you did? My snow pictures always turn out blah.
    Thank you! It's in Southern California. For us 50* is cold as ice. lol

    Camera settings vary, my point and shoot itself has a black and white setting. Aside from that I will adjust acording to the area, i.e aperture, EV, shutter, manual focus, etc. I use a Canon S100.

    It was a pretty old Council Tool Axe head, that a member from another forum gifted me. You should see what it looked like before I restored it lol.

    great trip and photos! You guys seem to have geared up correctly. IMO, the use of the tacoma and Foo Fighters shirt helped increase the awesome.

    haha I agree. The 4wd really saved us, there was another Tacoma behind us with only 2wd. They were only able to make it 500' before turning back around and parking all the way at the bottom. At the time we didn't know, until later bumping into them on the trail. I would have happily given them a lift.

    I've posted on other forums as well, everyone seems to really dig his shirt. lol
