Silk would be soooo nice

I bought the 94" x 46" size of this from Cocoon:

The larger size is a bit roomier to use as a liner bag - and can easily be used as a top sheet during summer nights.

None of these liners are cheap - I'll be interested to see what you come up with as a D-I-Y solution.

I have this one and although it is warm, it was costly. I think i'm going to purchase the one listed here from "spirits of vietnam" and see how it compares. but wait, did someone say DIY?? Im going to have to see what the satin sheets look like.

I've purchased silk a couple times from Thai Silks, the habotai weave. Bivy tops, bag liners, etc. The lower the momme(mm) weight, the lower the oz per yard. For example, 5mm is in the .6-.7oz range IIRC. It's relatively cheap and not too difficult to sew with some practice.
