VIDEO: A simple ridge line bag

    Hi all,

Having been inspired by a lot of you here, I've started a youtube channel that will be devoted to a wide variety of DIY and other interests, including hammocking. I have posted a couple of vids so far (one on my simple ridge line bag and one describing my black bishop bag), and I'd love for you to check them out and, if you like what you see so far, subscribe! If you're a skilled DIY-er you're unlikely to learn anything from me, but the idea is to present an overview of what kinds of things are possible with just a little practice. Any feedback would be welcomed - this is a rapidly evolving work in progress.

That looks like a nice, simple, but extremely useful project. Thanks for sharing. I'll try to keep an eye on your videos as you produce new ones. I went ahead and looked at your stuff sack video as well.

Very nice. If you sew a vertical line up the pocket about 3 inches from one edge, you'll have a nice place for glasses or sunglasses. Keeps them separate from rest of stuff in pocket so they won't get scratched.

    Thanks for posting.

Thanks all! I'm working on a giant stuff sack/shoulder bag thing, hope to have video edited and posted in the next day or two. I used the ridgeline bag "in the field" (my father-in-law's back yard) this weekend, works great.
"If you sew a vertical line up the pocket about 3 inches from one edge, you'll have a nice place for glasses or sunglasses." Good idea, I might have to add that!
