    I love the Smokies and fish it at least twice a year, but dang it, it is the busiest national park in the country and I tire of the 9 million people a year visiting the park. Thankfully, most of those large lazy visitors don't leave the pavement. However, in that number I am sure there are 8.5 million fly fishers...! This may be my first year in many, not to fish the Smokies. Heading out west again, more remote waters, hopefully.

    we passed like 5 people the whole trip,so much for those other 8,999,995 visitors. it was a nice loop but a bit much for my dads first hike in 10 years. All I have to do now is get him hangin!

    Campsite 69 is an excellent hanging site. I live near the Smokies as well. Maybe I'll see you all out there one day this year.
