Possible Scotland Hang Discussion Thread

Some of us have been discussing a possible group hang in Scotland on another members intro thread so I figured we should start a new thread...

Quite a few folk have expressed interest in a group hang both from Scotland and England. Of course anyone who wants to come will be welcome to do so

So who wants to come?
Suggestion of dates?
Locations?

I would like it to happen before May 21st (my holidays expire then

).
Galloway forest has been suggested as a location which I would be more than happy with, I've only been once and camped near Newton Stewart, the woods were brilliant but it probably wasn't the best spot for a group hang.

I'm up for it! I live in Newcastle and travel by motorbike, so I'd appreciate somewhere not too remote. I'm freelance so can be poetry flexible on dates.

Im up for a hang.. work in retail so dates are a last minute thing for me.. Galloway forrest is prob central for both sides of the border.. anyone coming from the highlands?

I for sure can't say I am coming, but for sure I wish I could. It would be a dream trip for sure. I hope you folks get up a huge group and have a wonderful time.

I am interested, I was out just above Traquair on the Southern Upland Way last Saturday. Used a new UQ for the first time and had to take my merino long johns and long sleeved top off during the night, nice problem to have. I will post a link to a report with pics when I get round to it.
